Flanders is a distinct knowledge region within Europe. The knowledge & practice centers – but also our industry, agriculture and government – ​​are renowned for their research. The IMPACT magazine emerged from the observation that much more is moving and growing within the bioeconomy and agriculture in terms of technical innovation than is generally known to potential end users of these new techniques.

IMPACT magazine brings you new developments in the bio-based economy and circular economy in the bio-based sectors.

The magazine is built around 6 themes: biomaterials, nutrient recovery, biochemicals, renewable energy, wastewater as raw material and value chain assessment.

IMPACT magazine brings the newest developments in the bio-based and circular economy. It is the result of a synergistic effort by Ghent University (Resource Lab and EndofWaste), IMPACT vzw, Biorefine Cluster Europe, and Nutricycle Vlaanderen, who collectively contribute to its realization.
